"This new work contains images of different locations' photo
souvenirs of their areas. I wanted to capture the moments that expose the breaking
point from the natural such as drop shadows diorama skies and visible pixels
in printed trees. Exposing the malleability of the static landscape is my art,
which plays in the conflict between the deadness of stability and the volatile
reality of change."

"Layering the slick edges of digital media design with a sweetly-awkward illustrative style, and a mad arsenal of working materials and techniques," Dotson continues to exhibit her installation and print work nationally. Recent solo exhibits of her installation work have included Kansas City, Atlanta and Chicago. Forthcoming exhibits include Philadelphia, Portland, OR, and Santa Barbara.
