Growing up in a military family, I was constantly moving from place to place and soon became aware of the impermanence of my surroundings. My work reflects this fleetingness. Small familiar objects float like delicate artifacts on a blank page--not
anchored in space or time-yet with a shadow of memory. Air and water become the only persistent elements as they recall and reflect human presence in these imagined spaces.
