Bio: Dean was born in philadelphia some time ago. he attended the school of the museum of fine arts in boston. he has done some interesting art related things over the years including murals, magazine covers & posters/graphics for bands of varying noteworthiness. he now resides in los angeles where he has had a number of successful solo & group shows. he has shown w/ the likes of raymond pettibon, gary baseman & robert raushenberg, amongst others. if you care about such things he is included in the collections of the cartoon network, brad pitt, george clooney, matt damon, gary calamar (producer/kcrw dj) and mr. burns (harry shearer).
this series was created exclusively for artforemptywalls.com. this work is known the "smog" series, inspired by living, or trying to, in los angeles. it is a bit of a departure from his other work, but not really.
