Bio: Sarah McKiel
NSMFashions studio started in 1985. It's currently in Kingston, Ontario, where Sarah finds inspiration in penitentiaries, the outdoors and her newborn. She has recently exhibited in Toronto, New York, Montreal and Winnipeg.
Sarah received her BFA from the University of Manitoba in 1998 and MFA from Bard College at Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts, NY in 2003.
Her forte is mixed media, photography, collage and performance (les Copines, 98 - 05). She regularly enjoys making video, music and textile.
JonBonet, Anna Nicole, Gymnasts, Model, Oscars, Carwash and Tara are central figures to NSMFashions, The Girls of Glitter Gulch starring Cinnamon and Ginger.
